Covid – valuable lessons learned

Here at Good Call Media we are delighted to be back working and filming face to face but we have learned some valuable lessons from Covid and they have led to great innovations in our business.

Jealotts Hill microsite

Our videos are being used to explain a major plan to redevelop the Jealotts Hill science park. They are featured throughout a special microsite (see image) and include a series of film reports explaining the project, the vision for the science park and also addressing some of the concerns of local residents.

Jealott’s Hill International Research Centre has grown over the last 90-years and is the largest commercial research facility in the UK dedicated to agri-tech.

This exciting project will secure the future of Jealott’s Hill as a world-leading science and innovation park with Syngenta as the anchor institution. The company will be part of a collaborative cluster delivering vital work to help tackle climate change, sustainable food production, water and resource management and clean energy.

You can see one of the video reports here:

This would be at the heart of a vibrant and sustainable garden village with new homes, including affordable housing, as well as education, healthcare, leisure facilities, shops, services and a transformed transport network.

Biodiversity gain would be achieved across the site, rich with new habitat opportunities. The development will provide access for the first time into more than 115 acres of green spaces. This includes a country park, woodland and recreation space.

The proposals will safeguard the 850 jobs at Jealott’s Hill and create thousands more, significantly improving the economic prospects of the area. It will help to address productivity challenges, transform economic prosperity and bring about the step change needed to position Bracknell Forest at the heart of a thriving, productive Thames Valley Berkshire economy, providing a strategic focus for housing and business growth in the Borough.

Nigerian location for our latest video

We found ourselves filming in the heart of Ibadan, Nigeria for the latest video in the 2020 World Veterinary Association Global Welfare Awards, supported by Ceva Animal Health.

We took our cameras to the country’s main veterinary college to film the amazing story of vet technician Paul Oluwadare, who was the winner of an award for going ‘above and beyond’ in the field of animal welfare over the previous 12 months.
