Launching Our New Drone

We have invested in the latest state of the art filming drone, the DJI Mavic  3 Pro.

And where better to shoot our first amazing pictures than in the Northern Territory of Australia, known as the ‘Top End’ which is home to some of the most beautiful vistas and national parks in the world. Nik Wood is visiting Australia looking at potential future projects for Good Call Media.

We were on a 3,000 kilometre road trip through NT, which involved crossing crocodile-infested rivers and travelling vast distances to film with Aboriginal cattle keepers and veterinarians as part of a project to produce a documentary with the Veterinarians for Climate Action organisation. The ambitious programme saw us fly to Darwin in the far north or the Territories and then make our way to the Seven Emu Station, which was the first cattle station in Australia to be owned by an indigenous family. Seven Emu is still in the hands of the Shadforth family and they will feature in our film.

The drone helped us to capture some incredible vistas as well as livestock that wander freely in the Aussie outback.

Watch out for the release of the documentary, which will be used to gather support for Vets for Climate Action as they lead a campaign to take their organisation global.

The film will be shown to various international organisations to highlight the work of the group, which is now attracting support from various areas of the world including the World Veterinary Association, which represent veterinarians in every continent.
