Filming in Sri Lanka
Our assignment in Sri Lanka in 2025 helped to celebrate those veterinarians across the globe who have gone “above and beyond” in their sector of animal health.
Nik Wood travelled to the island of Sri Lanka to highlight the amazing work of Professor Mangala Gunatilake who has worked in many fields of veterinary medicine, from devising more humane methods of carrying out laboratory research to treating elephants infected with rabies in Sri Lanka’s famous elephant sanctuary.
